The wall lamps of the Secto series by Finnish lighting manufacturer Secto are modern wooden wall sculptures. Their slender slats from birch plywood are slightly fanned out and stray the light without glare, straying the light mainly up- or downwards depending on the direction they are mounted. Secto produces the wall lamps in two different dimensions and four colour versions: completely from natural birch plywood, from natural birch plywood with waxed walnut veneer on the exterior and birch-wood plywood with black or white laminated exterior.
Though made of ecologically produced wood, the handmade Secto wall lamps weigh 3 kilos only and can be hung with a picture nail on the wall. They are directly connected to the ceiling outlet but can also be ordered with a 2 meter long white cable with integrated switch to connect the lamp to a plug.
The large wall lamp Secto 4230 described here requires a rather large wall to unveil its full beauty.
