Extraordinary, striking, natural, Scandinavian - just a few words to describe the unique design of pendant lamp Octo by Finnish lighting manufacturer Secto. Octo 4240 requires a lot of space to display its design but soon becomes the focal point of the interior. Seppo Koho, the Finnish architect, created a pendant with contemporary look and reduced lines yet emotional character. The bent slender slats from PEFC-certified, hence environmental-friendly produced birch plywood are connected by a special construction from aircraft plywood. They are available in natural birch, walnut veneered birch or optionally with black or white laminated exterior (inner sides in natural birch). The spherical shade directs the light downwards and strays it laterally creating an ambience full of atmosphere. Power cord and conical plastic canopy are black for the black laminated version and white for the three-other ones.
All Secto designer lights are handmade by highly skilled Finnish craftsmen.
