The lighting series Secto by Finnish lighting manufacturer Secto is already a contemporary design classic. Its unique shade from birch plywood creates a cosy atmosphere with softly diffused light. Particularly modern interiors benefit from the sensual, natural character of the wood providing an emotional feature to a rather reduced interior scheme.
Pendant lamp Secto is available in three dimensions. Secto 4201, the small version described here, is bulkier than the medium version and therefore perfectly suited to illuminated a dining table. Secto 4201 strays the light directly downwards and strays it also laterally.
The lamp shade is made of slats from birch plywood which are connected by an especially conceived construction from aircraft plywood. You can choose between four colour versions: natural birch, birch with walnut veneer and birch laminated black or white on the outside. The power cord and conical plastic canopy are in matching black or white.
The birchwood is PEFC-certified and hence environmental-friendly produced, the lamp itself is handmade by skilled Finnish craftsmen.
